Jeffrey has extensive experience in the exploration and mining environment. His many roles in this industry have included Exploration and Mine Geologist, Mineral Resource Manager, Technical Services Manager, and General Manager. He was formerly Operations Director of Minéro Mining Company.

Jeffrey founded the Jempec Group in 2002, and remains Executive Chair. He also co-founded PlatiStone, a leader in the Crushing and Screening industry, in 2010, and built it from a start-up to an R80m turnover business, without external or shareholder funding, and in just four years.

In 2013, Jeffrey co-founded the Executive Investment Club for which is a Chairman, and in 2014, Kwena Fund Managers, a private equity fund management company. In 2016, Jeffrey ventured into bio energy, with the establishment of Lesapath. This also led to the founding of Jempec Energy which is focused on renewable energy.

Jeffrey is a member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa, the only professional body for directors that is recognized by the South African Qualifications Authority.
